"Cheap" tires and a lesson learned.

After breaking these knockoff “holeshots” down and reseating them 3 times I finally got it. I have never had issues like this with any other tire. With a “locked” drive axle, no joke, being 1.5 psi off makes a big difference.

They were half the price of the real Interco tires but with time invested and bead sealer it’s actually a wash.

Over and done.. The freeze is coming and it’s almost time to fit the studded tires anyway.

i have used gloss spray paint.........on the wheel bead side.........

I didn’t even think of that! I have a bunch of Plastidip rattle cans sitting around too.

Another lesson learned!

it works best if you seat things while its still a tacky mess........i had an older guy tell me about it. i had been banging my head on the wall trying to figure out how to get a nasty rusted wheel to hold air, and i had already gotten mean with a file, and already gotten mean with a good wire brush, and he tells me “yeah just spray paint it, real heavy with gloss, seat it before it sets up.” it nearly glues your tire on. one of the best tire hacks ive been given..........
